We pay homage to the French handlebar bag, while incorporating some time-saving features for the long distance cyclist. Our Boxy Rando Bag is "medium-sized"; perfect for smaller frames or for those riders who don't plan on bringing the kitchen sink. A note on decaleurs and quick-release:

It goes without saying that the addition of a decaleur will provide the most wobble-free mount. But running a couple of cords to the handlebars (along with our 2-layer stiffener) works well to stabilize the bag. My suggestion is to try it with the cords first. You can always buy a decaleur later if it's not stable enough for your taste.

Our bag is easily removable: strip off the velco bottom straps, loosen the handlebar cords and lift up the leather sleeve from the rear rack arm. Snap on the optional shoulder strap and you're good to go.
