Acorn Bags is a husband/wife team dedicated to creating traditional bicycle bags...with a few new twists. Our goal is to create simple, yet functional designs that you’d be proud to strap on your bike. Each bag is handcrafted in Southern California. Please note that we're a tiny cottage industry with very limited production.

UPDATE: ALL SOLD OUT FOR THE MONTH OF JULY. We'll start accepting bag orders again on August 1. Check out eBay - user ID acornbags - for the occasional bag on sale.

(To put things into perspective, my wife and I make 2-3 bags a day working 6-7 days a week. So, you can do the math on how many bags we produce each month. Sorry, no mass production here...just a mini sweatshop ;-)

Our Main Order Page is up and running as of 9 AM PST. We have a set amount of bags to sell for the month. First come, first served. Sorry, we do not keep a waiting (or pre-order) list. We're planning on selling a few bags on eBay in-between ordering cycles.

A few words about our ordering system...

There's been some frustration on how fast we stop taking orders. I hate to cut it off so early, but I feel there's no choice when our monthly quota gets filled. I really don't want to create a waiting list that carries over for multiple months (or years). So, I figure a monthly turnaround schedule is a fair compromise. Being a teeny business, we don't want to take on more work than we can handle. (Plus, I'd like to get out of the house for a ride once in a while.) Any creative ordering ideas, comments or constructive criticism is welcome!

As an experiment, I'll be selling a few bags on eBay. Hopefully, this will fill the gap between ordering cycles. My user ID is acornbags and my feedback score is a big fat "0"...but you can trust me.
