Purchasing our Bags

Do you sell internationally or wholesale?
We gladly accept U.S. and Canada orders directly through our webstore. For shipping to other selected countries, please contact me for a quote.

Due to limited production, we are not able to accept wholesale orders at this time.

Do you have a waiting or pre-order list?
I tried a waiting list, but it grew uncomfortably long and difficult to manage, so I no longer keep lists.

What types of payment are accepted?
For U.S.A.: We accept all major credit cards and Paypal. (Sorry, no checks or money orders accepted.) For Canada and other countries: We accept major credit cards only. 

Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax will be automatically added at checkout to California residents only.

Posting New Stock

You're always out of bags...when will new stock be posted?
We are commited to offering quality bags at a fair price. This takes time...remember, it's just the two of us! Our restocking schedule is posted here. (Click here for bags currently in stock.)

How many bags do you post when you restock?
It varies according to what's popular at the moment. We usually make anywhere from 4 to 10 of each model per batch.

After you post new stock, how fast do your bags sell out?
A popular bag may sell out in a few minutes, so please order with this in mind. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or frustration.

Why do your bags still say "Sold Out" right after you restocked?
You may need to refresh your browser to see the latest stock.

I just put a bag in my cart, so why can't I checkout?
This last bag in stock is being held in another buyer's cart for purchase. Please check back in a few minutes—the buyer may have changed his mind and the bag will be put back into circulation.

What's the shipping cost to the U.S.?
We use USPS (First Class, Priority) or UPS Ground, determined by the size/weight/value of your package as well as your location. A signature upon delivery isn't required, so we recommended you ship to a secure address. We can't be held responsible for stolen goods.

What's the shipping cost to Canada?
We mainly use USPS First Class, since it's the most economical shipping method. (We don't profit on shipping and will refund any excess charge.) It can take up to 2 weeks for delivery. A signature upon delivery isn't required, so we recommended you ship to a secure address. We can't be held responsible for stolen goods.

* Please Note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. To properly insure your items, we must declare full value on customs forms.

What's the shipping cost to other countries?
For shipping to other selected countries, please contact me for a quote. (For example, USPS First Class Mail will cost approx. $35 to $55 to Asia, Australia and Western Europe and will take up to 2 weeks. We don't profit on shipping.)

How long before you ship out?
All items are usually sent out within 2 days. A confirmation/tracking email will be automatically sent at that time. If there is a delay, I will keep you posted. 

After Purchase

What's your return policy?
I try my best to describe our bags in detail. If you have any product questions, please email me prior to purchase. That said, returns will not be accepted unless there is a valid reason.

Please contact us for return authorization within 7 days of delivery—bag MUST be unused and unmounted. A 10% restocking fee is applied to all returned items. All shipping charges are non-refundable.

What's your warranty?
Acorn Bags are warranted to be free from defects and materials or workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase for the original owner. The customer shall be responsible for any shipping costs. This warranty does not apply to: a) cosmetic damage, such as fading, staining or bleeding of materials; b) normal wear and tear; c) damage due to abuse, improper care or accident; d) damage or loss of contents of bag.
